Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) provides a direct and cost-effective transportation route as part of the Southern Gas Corridor a 3,500-kilometer gas value chain stretching from the Caspian Sea to Europe. EMA team has supported TAP Albania to perform comprehensive biodiversity surveys in its compressors area in Fieri and Bilisht regions. The surveys area included also a corridor over 25km. the survey methodology included the most recent advanced ones as (NatureScot 2016). The survey scope included, habitats, flora, mammals, reptiles, amphibians and birds. The aim of this study is to support TAP feasibility and permitting of future extension plans in Albania.
